We warmly welcome all new families to Claremont College, and we look forward to meeting yours. Our annual intake years are Preparatory, Kindergarten, Year 3 and Year 5, with enrolment in other year groups offered subject to availability. Because interviews are usually held 12–18 months before a child starts, we encourage families to apply well ahead of time.

From your first enquiry to your child’s first day, our Registrar will guide you through every step: from answering questions, to detailing school policies to ensuring the enrolment process is as smooth as possible. To experience our college and community for yourself, book a school tour today.

The enrolment journey

  1. Step 1

    Enquiry

    To experience Claremont College for yourself, book a private tour or attend an Open Day. Our Registrar is available by phone or email to assist you.

  2. Step 2

    Application

    Complete our online enrolment application form. The documents you will need are listed at the start, and a $200 non-refundable application fee applies on submission. Once received, we will confirm by email and add your child to the waitlist for their nominated year of entry. You will receive an interview booking link via email when it is time to schedule your interview.

  3. Step 3

    Interview

    Usually held 12–18 months before commencement, the interview provides an opportunity for us to get to know your family and discuss your child’s education and needs.

  4. Step 4

    Offer of enrolment

    Following your completion of steps 1-3, your application will be carefully reviewed, subject to availability and our Enrolment Policy. All successful applicants will receive a written Letter of Offer.

  5. Step 5

    Accept your offer

    After receiving your Letter of Offer, both parents/carers must sign and pay a non-refundable enrolment fee of $1,800 to secure their child’s place.

  • Term 1: Monday 1 February to Friday 9 April (10 weeks)

    Term 2: Wednesday 28 April to Friday 25 June (9 weeks)

    Term 3: Monday 20 July to Friday 24 September (10 weeks)

    Term 4: Tuesday 12 October to Wednesday 1 December (8 weeks)
