On Sunday 24 March some of our Claremont families gathered together to celebrate Greek Independence Day, commemorating the start of the War of Greek Independence in 1821. Some of our Greek Year 6 student leaders participated in the wreath-laying ceremony at Martin Place Cenotaph. Thank you to the families who attended, and who joined the march to the Opera House. Having participated in this event for a number of years now, we alway see this as a wonderful honour for our school, especially for our many Greek families.
