CLAREMONT COLLEGE

Learning Space Transformation Plan

We are pleased to announce the submission of a Development Application to Randwick City Council with plans to transform an existing residential property/building into an additional classroom for creative learning: a space where students can learn, collaborate and innovate. Located at 12 Heath Street, Randwick, this development is designed to enrich the learning environment for our students.

Claremont College has a proud and rich history that values both innovation in education and the wellbeing of our community. Our size is also our strength, the planned new learning space will provide students with greater opportunity to collaborate and learn in a safe space without growing beyond the College’s approved capacity.

This development project will enhance our College offering with minimal disruption to our students’ day-to-day learning and in line with sustainable practices. Contractors have been carefully selected to limit the impact on campus life, as well as our neighbouring properties.

This initiative reflects our ongoing commitment to inspiring young minds to have impact that matters and prepare them for the adventures that lie ahead.

For a comprehensive overview of the Development Application, including detailed project plans and submission documents, we encourage our community members, stakeholders, and the public to visit the Randwick City Council Planning Portal. This portal provides access to all relevant information and facilitates an understanding of the project scope and objectives.

We look forward to continuing to share updates and progress as we enhance Claremont College’s facilities for the benefit of our students, staff, and the wider community.
